Mittendrin.Kunst
"In the Middle.Art" brings together all the artistic work shown in the exhibition!
How they see themselves and how they see the world. People with disabilities and people without disabilities should live together as equals.
We all have the same needs.
We all want to live self-determined lives.
That is important for a life well lived.
Mittendrin.Wissen
"Mittendrin. Knowledge" documents the content of the exhibition
Inclusion is the positive vision of an equal togetherness. In order to bring it to life, actions are needed in key areas.
Mittendrin.Zukunft
"In the Middle.Future" is a documentation of the first held conference about Inclusion in Graz. {Erster Zukunftstag der Inklusion}, which took place as part of the exhibition. And was filled with conversations, expert input, discussions at round tables and a subsequent tour of the exhibition.
The conference of inclusion was dedicated to three questions:
1) How can inclusion in schools and education succeed?
2) What conditions are needed for a good quality of life in old age?
3) What does inclusion mean in relation to the medical treatment of people with disabilities?
